The Ten Provincial Fingers
The Ten Provincial Fingers
photo (and fingers) - Bonnie and Bernie Danylyshen (TDC 2002)

Canada is known to have birds and flowers that are the official symbols of its ten provinces. A little known fact is that Canada also has Provincial Fingers. Bernie Danylyshen and his wife Bonnie participated in the cross-Canada ride in 2002. Bernie , a school principal from Veteran Alberta promised his students that he would paint each finger nail a different colour as he cycled through each Canadian province. And thus was born the 10 Provincial Fingers of Canada.

Team Sketchy TDC 2002, 66 day trip.
Brent Madison, TDC driver, was curious about the activities that had lead this group of TDC cyclists to spend such a long day on the road. The answer, according to Brent, was sketchy and thus Brent dubbed the group Team Sketchy.
