Debbie, Carlos, Wally, Leo and of course Alan Medcalf (taking photo) drop into Broderick's Ice Cream Parlour in Port Stanley

Mid-week we have a rest day in the friendly resort town of Port Stanley.

One of the attractions in Port Stanley is the Port Stanley Terninal Rail. For 57 years the line transported freight and passengers to this thriving Port from London. The railway is one of Ontario’s oldest. You can now take a 7 kilometre ride over the historically preserved tracks and roadbed and view an historic selection of rolling stock and architecture.

Or, you can go to the beach. You'll find beach bars, excellent restaurants serving the local specialty - Lake Erie Perch.

Ed Herage opts for a ride on the train.
