Cycle Canada Bicycle Touring Routes - Self-Guided Packages
Cycle Canada's Bicycle Touring Routes are a series of bicycle tours developed by Bud Jorgensen, principal of Cycle Canada. Bud is the founder of a number of popular group cycling events including Tour du Canada, where cyclists travel through all ten Canadian provinces.
Cycle Canada has been an innovator in developing new touring routes in all parts of the country. Cycle Canada's Bicycle Touring Routes are based on Bud's deep understanding of cycling conditions throughout Canada.
A selection of these Touring Routes is now being offered as self-supported and self-guided tours. Cyclists can now purchase packages that follow one of these routes.
These packages are not "off the shelf packages". Each package is prepared only when we receive an order and we update information at that time. The packages are designed for 2 to 4 people. Please contact us if your group is larger than this. The Packages are only available through this web site.
Included in each package are daily route sheets with maps and turning points expressed in kilometres and miles. Area map(s), suggested indoor and camping accommodation at recommended stopover points along the route, with contact information, tourism sites, bike shops and other useful information.
Cycle Canada's Bicycle Touring Routes are designed for experienced cyclists and their friends - for individual cyclists or groups of up to four who wish to plan a trip on their own time schedule.
There is also an Optional Additional Support Package that provides for semi-custom tours.
