Travelling to Canada? Here are some tips: Crossing the border for a bike tour

Your accommodation in Barrie on the night of May 28th is included in the full package fee.

The following are motels in close proximity to Finch subway start point:

Novotel, 3 Park Home Avenue, North York Ontario Toronto subway line. One subway stop south of Finch subway stop and stop point. City parking lot within a block of hotel (current 24 hour rate is $13.50). There is more than one Novotel in Toronto so make sure you indicate North York.

The following are motels in close proximity to York University start point:

Tourism information can be found here: Toronto Tourism 800-499-2514 www.seetorontonow.com

Special notes: As in any major centre it is not recommended to leave your bike unattended, including inside or on top of your vehicle. This includes when checking in and out of hotels and motels.

If you are from out of town and staying at one of these properties and have a car, you can also park at York University for the duration of the event. The current rate is $5.00 a day (rate is set by York). If you do not have a car starting your ride at Finch subway station may be a good choice.

While past riders and Cycle Canada have stayed at some of these properties listed, we encourage you to compare rates and reviews in order to make your decision.
