RANDONNEURS ONTARIO

"Everything Old is New Again"
200 Kilometre Brevet

On Sunday August 23, 1998 at 7:30 a.m. thirteen cyclists assembled at the Maple Bakery, near Toronto, Ontario to participate in a 200 kilometre ride that travelled to Belfountain, Erin, Orangeville and back. The ride was being staged by the Randonneurs Ontario long distance cycling club. Participants were members of the Ontario club, but also joining the ride was a member from the B.C. Randonneurs and a club member who lives in a more distant suburb, Rochester N.Y.

This photo album is an account of the day's adventure as well as an explanation of the mysterious ways of the breed of cyclists known as Randonneurs.
