The end of the ride, back at Maple

At the end of the ride the organizer stamps the final time, signs the cards and summarize the details on a record sheet.  Results of the brevet, including names and times of participants are published in a future club newsletter.

Control Cards and Summary Sheet

All cards and the record sheet are sent to France. Medals are presented to successful participants at an annual club ceremony
The ultimate event for Randoneurs is the quadrennial Paris - Brest - Paris ride. The challenge of PBP is to complete this 1200 kilometre ride in less than 90 hours and for some in under 80 hours. The reglulations for the August 23rd brevet are those established for PBP. To qualify to participate in PBP, riders must successfully complete a Super Randonneur Series in the year of the event. The Super Randonneur Series includes a 200 km, (13.5 hours), 300 km (20 hours), 400 km (27 hours) and 600 km (40 hours)
The next PBP is in 1999.
