Cycle Canada's Tour of the Trent Bicycle Touring Route - Self-Guided
Travel to Georgian Bay and Lake Ontario on Cycle Canada's Tour of the Trent.
On Cycle Canada's self guided Tour of the Trent you will vist cottage country and Ontario's quiet farm regions, following inland canals on this one-week cycling adventure.
We'll travel the Trent Canal from Lake Huron to the the Bay of Quinte. The canal links Georgian Bay on Lake Huron with the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario, spanning a varied geographic area.
The Waterway region is rich with history from its native and settlers roots, and is now a summer playground and recreational corridor. The route travels over drumlins formed millions of years ago by glaciers, rambling country roads and roads that follow the canal and system of locks that make up the Trent Waterway System.
